Each of these exquisite hummingbirds is handcrafted in the Ozarks of Missouri by Brad jones while the glass is molten and pliable. Each piece starts out as a gather of molten glass on the end of a glass rod, and is worked with hand held tools to form a finished hummingbird. Since each one is built individually, each and every one is truly unique. This truly gorgeous laying rose is made in the same way, by hand, using pyrex glass annealed to give it the strength and beauty to last a lifetime (with a little care). Each rose has six petals and three sepals, realistic leaves and thorns adorn a curved slender stem to create one of the most romantic glass sculptures imaginable. Each hummingbird sparkles and delights people, hanging from its gold thread wherever you choose to place it. They make beautiful suncatchers in windows and look especially nice hanging from light fixtures.
